Six Forresters Apprentices Graduate on a Day to Remember

6 Forresters Apprentices Graduate with Flying Colours

Three years of training culminated in the final Apprenticeship graduation module showcase at the Forresters Hairdresser Training Academy Graduation ceremony in Reading, Berkshire on Tuesday 31st July.

Megan Hossack (Forresters Tilehurst Salon), Jodie Clarke (Forresters Pangbourne Salon, Michaela McNiffe (Forresters Reading Salon), Georgina Scully (Forresters Reading Salon), Elena Detenon (Forresters Thatcham salon) and Charlotte Stroud (Forresters Thatcham Salon) delighted everyone with their enthusiasm, technical knowledge and hairdressing skills.

Preparations were made a few days before the final examination day when the apprentices used their technical skills to colour and cut their model’s hair ready for graduation day. This final  module required them all to add hair pieces and ornaments and use hair-up techniques as well as cuts, colour and styling.

Group owner, John Forrester introduced the show followed by Training Course leader Helen Cleaver who summarised the module and introduced the girls throughout the showcase. Technical trainers Stuart Forrester, Rupert Towers and Robbie Robertson supported the girls along with their salon managers and everyone was delighted and proud of their Graduate Stylists.

Attendees were treated to an imaginative display of  twists, plaits, curls and up-do’s embellished with clips, bands, pearls, twigs and a nesting bird.  The Graduates’ mood boards were displayed around the venue for everyone to see where the inspiration behind the final pieces came from.

Congratulations to all our new Graduates from everyone in the Forresters Group.
