If you’re thinking about hair extensions, your first step is to book in for a free consultation (no obligation of course!) with one of our Racoon-trained experts to discuss your desired look.
Once you’ve chosen to go ahead and weighed up the options, you can select the type of extensions used to the length and number needed, depending on your requirements and preferences. We order the hair needed in advance, which you pay for upfront, and then we book you in to have them applied, and you pay separately for the time spent in the salon.

How much does it cost?
It differs for every customer, depending on the effect you want. During your free consultation, we will discuss your requirements, from your budget to hair length, hair colour and everything in between, to agree on the quantity, type and colour of your hair extensions. The price you pay is determined at your consultation.

Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?
Not at all! We’ve all heard the horror stories. But there really is no need to worry. Racoon is the brand leader in hair extensions. And at Forresters, your hair extensions will be applied by a fully-trained professional. Which means we promise – in fact we pinky swear - there will be no damage to your natural hair.

How long will my new hair extensions last?
Up to four months. This is the time it takes for the bonds to grow down – at which point they will need removing and replacing. If you’ve looked after your extensions properly (you’ll get advice from your stylist!), they can simply be re-attached. On your regular maintenance visit, we’ll check bonds and rotate and replace extensions if necessary.

How long does it take to apply hair extensions?
This depends on the look you’re going for.  If you opt for a full head of extensions, it can take up to 4 hours but the time varies depending on the length and thickness of your hair, as well as your chosen style. If all you want is a fringe or a shot of colour, it can take as little as 20 – 40 minutes, while adding volume to fine hair can take up to 2 hours.
