Rory Gamble – our Inspirational Youth completes his journey

All of the team at Forresters Wallingford are really proud of Rory’s achievement as part of the TGI Inspirational Youth Team.

Working over a 6 month period, in conjunction with TIGI and students from the London School of Fashion, Rory has learned much about the strong links between hair and fashion, focusing on trends and working with fashion designers to create cohesive looks.

Everyone in the Inspirational Youth team has improved their cutting and finishing skills and all have become more confident working on stage and on hair and fashion shoots.

Rupert Towers, the Forresters Wallingford salon manager said of Rory “It’s been great to see Rory develop further during his time with the Inspirational Youth team. He’s come back full of ideas fresh from the catwalk and is inspiring our salon team. It’s been a great opportunity that he will never forget”.

Rupert Towers who manages the Forresters Wallingford salon franchise, was recently selected as a finalist in the Hairdressers Journal British Hairdressing Business Awards 2012. The category was Franchisee of The Year, and Rupert was one of four worthy finalists.
